Job summary

JP Cullen seeks a dedicated Risk Analyst to support disciplined decision-making aligned with our values and long-term objectives. This role reports to the CFO and partners with operations, project management, safety, accounting, and leadership to manage risk exposure and reporting.

It is primarily office-based with periodic travel to meetings and development courses. You will assist with subcontractor prequalification, insurance programs, AI-driven contract reviews, and coordination with outside

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, construction management, business, risk management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in construction, finance, insurance, project management, or risk-related roles preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to present and train other JP Cullen team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist with subcontractor prequalification and management processes, including repository maintenance and reporting on financial health.
• Support project teams in placing or confirming Builder’s Risk Insurance policies and monitoring policy expirations.
• Assist in development of AI-enabled reviews of contractual requirements and collaborate with outside counsel on contract/insurance requirements.
• Review prime contracts for indemnity, insurance, and damages provisions and organize exceptions for review.
• Align subcontractor insurance requirements with contractual scope and prime contracts.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly captive insurance reporting; review Certificates of Insurance with partners.
