Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Recycling Coordinator to act as the internal endpoint for recycling processes within our ISO department. This full-time role involves coordinating recycling activities, handling waste materials, and working primarily on location to support sustainable practices.

The ideal candidate will participate in the Spill Response team, operate forklifts, and assist with material handling and maintenance as needed, while maintaining safety standards and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to push, pull, bend, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Works in an environment that includes exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Work primarily involves standing, may involve a moderate amount of bending / stretching.

Responsibilities

• Sort and separate various construction and demolition materials for recycling
• Handling of waste hoppers and dumpsters
• Frequent forklift operation
• Collect and bundle cardboard and plastic
• Use of compactors and balers
• Maintain wash water systems and water treatment
• Active team member of Spill Response and Prevention Team
• Groundskeeping
• Hazardous material disposal and handling
• Assist with material handling and receiving, production process, and maintenance as needed
