Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Recycling Coordinator in Russellville, AR to serve as the internal endpoint for recycling processes. The role primarily involves on-site work with materials before recycling or disposal externally.

You will handle sorting, waste handling, and water treatment support while collaborating with the team to ensure safe, efficient operations and adherence to environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to push, pull, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work environment includes exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Experience in warehouses or construction materials handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sort and recycle construction and demolition materials.
• Operate waste hoppers, dumpsters and compactors.
• Assist with material handling and receiving as needed.

Recycling Coordinator

Reports to: Dottie Kelly

Department: ISO

Job Status: Full-Time / Hourly

Mobility Profile: On Location

Position Summary: Primary function is to be the internal endpoint for recycling processes before materials are recycled or disposed of externally, with most hours worked outside.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Sort and separate various construction and demolition materials for recycling
• Handling of waste hoppers and dumpsters
• Frequent forklift operation
• Collect and bundle cardboard and plastic
• Use of compactors and balers
• Maintain wash water systems and water treatment
• Active team member of Spill Response and Prevention Team
• Groundskeeping
• Hazardous material disposal and handling
• Assist with material handling and receiving, production process, and maintenance as needed

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to push, pull, bend, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Works in an environment that includes exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Work primarily involves standing, may involve a moderate amount of bending / stretching.
