Job summary

Clayton is a leading home builder seeking a Recycling Coordinator to oversee internal recycling processes and coordinate material handling on-site. The role emphasizes hands-on involvement in sorting materials, operating equipment, and supporting environmental safety programs.

Primary duties include managing waste streams, assisting with maintenance and production activities, and upholding Clayton’s commitment to sustainable practices while working on location with a dedicated ISO team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to push, pull, bend, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in an environment with extreme temperatures.
• Experience with recycling processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sort and separate construction and demolition materials for recycling.
• Handle waste hoppers and dumpsters.
• Operate forklifts.
• Collect and bundle cardboard and plastic.
• Use compactors and balers.
• Maintain wash water systems and water treatment.
• Support Spill Response and Prevention Team.
• Groundskeeping.
• Dispose and handle hazardous materials.
• Assist with material handling and receiving, production, and maintenance as needed.
