Job summary

BBVA in New York seeks a Corporate Banking Associate to support Relationship Managers in delivering BBVA’s products and services to corporate clients, primarily in Construction and Real Estate. You will coordinate with regional teams across the US, Latin America, Europe and Asia to execute transactions and prepare client-facing materials.

The role emphasizes financial modeling, risk analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with product partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4 years minimum of work experience; MBA (preferred but not required).
• Fluency in English and Spanish (preferred but not required).
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Interest in Construction and Real Estate sectors; prior experience preferred but not required.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and AI-enabled tools to support analysis; Reuters and Bloomberg a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers in developing, marketing, and delivering products and services to corporate clients, mainly in Construction and Real Estate.
• Coordinate transaction closings, including management of all documentation and follow-up.
• Prepare for client meetings with presentation materials, background information and call plans.
• Research and evaluate potential new client relationships.
• Prepare transaction summaries and risk-adjusted-return analyses for Credit Committee.
• Coordinate internal procedures with Credit, Operational and Legal departments.
• Maintain the CRM system for pipeline and profitability reporting.
