Job summary

The Whiting‑Turner Contracting Company is seeking a Quality Manager (Finance) with 7–15 years in construction to lead project quality plans and integrate the Quality Management Plan with planning, procurement and construction.

Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and engineers to develop project-specific quality plans, mentor teams, and ensure compliance with contract documents while maintaining a proactive quality culture on diverse commercial projects. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering/related field required.
• QMS/RMS experience preferred.
• Proficient with construction means and methods and field operations.
• Ability to develop project-specific quality plans and integrate with QA/QC tech.
• Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams in developing and executing project-specific QMPs.
• Support work in strict compliance with contract documents.
• Review contracts for constructability and accuracy.
• Analyze documents to extract critical quality elements for QMPs.
• Lead inspections scheduling and walks with project teams.
• Participate in and lead quality-related project meetings.
• Document and track conformances and non-conformances.
• Interface with architects, engineers, and owner reps to ensure quality compliance.
