Job summary

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is seeking a qualified Quality Manager to support and oversee the Quality Management Plan across multiple commercial projects. You will collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and engineers to drive quality initiatives and ensure contract compliance.

This role requires 5–20+ years in construction quality, along with a BS in engineering/construction management. Travel is required, and the environment is fast-paced and team-based.

Qualifications

• 5–20+ years of experience in construction quality management.
• BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• QMS/RMS experience preferred.
• Ability to develop project-specific written quality plans and integrate with project teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication; effective time management and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams in developing and executing project-specific QMPs.
• Support project teams to comply with contract documents.
• Review documents for constructability and accuracy.
• Analyze documents to extract critical quality elements for QMPs.
• Lead inspection planning and coordinate inspections with teams and owners.
• Represent quality health of projects in meetings and provide improvement suggestions.
