Job summary

Whiting-Turner Contracting Company seeks a qualified Quality Manager to support and oversee project teams implementing the QMP across commercial projects in Seattle. The role requires a self-driven, collaborative professional with a strong quality background and the ability to integrate with planning, procurement and construction activities.

The candidate should have 5 to 20+ years in construction, a related engineering degree, and proficiency with QA processes and project-based written quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Engineering Technology or Construction Management.
• QMS/RMS experience preferred.
• Proficient in construction means & methods and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams in developing and executing project-specific QMPs.
• Support project teams in executing work in strict compliance with contract documents.
• Review contract documents for constructability and accuracy.
• Analyze construction documents to extract critical quality elements for QMP development.
• Collaborate with project teams to assign inspection roles and manage inspection processes.
• Lead portions of quality-related meetings and inspections to ensure QMP adherence and quality health.
