Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Quality Manager I to own the project quality control program, schedule and witness tests, and maintain daily QC reporting. You will open and track nonconformances with engineers and superintendents, ensuring test certifications and calibrations are current.

Sponsored training options include USACE CQM for Contractors and related ICC/NICET certifications, paving the path to larger programs as you grow from Quality Manager I to II on subsequent projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.
• Able to read specifications and drawings and turn them into a test schedule.
• Direct, organized, and able to communicate about pass/fail with a superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan and the testing frequency log against the specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests; verify certifications of technicians.
• Write the daily quality control report and NCRs; track nonconformances to closure; audit submittal files.
