Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager I to own the quality control program on a single project. You will maintain the ITP, schedule and witness tests, and produce daily QC reports while tracking nonconformances through resolution.

This is a growth path role within a field team, moving from inspector to program owner on site. You’ll sponsor and manage certifications, read specifications, and communicate with the superintendent and engineer of record to ensure

Qualifications

• Ability to read specifications and drawings and translate into a test schedule.
• Direct, organized, and comfortable asserting nonconformances to a superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and testing frequency log against specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests; verify technician certifications.
• Write the daily QC report and the three-phase meeting records.
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and engineer of record.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
