Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager I to own the QC program on a single project under a senior manager. You will maintain the ITP, schedule and witness tests, and open/close NCRs with the engineer of record.

The role starts as the first management seat for a field inspector ready to own the program. The weekly cadence includes look-ahead pours, test witnessing, certifications, and daily reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.
• Able to read specifications and drawings and translate into a test schedule.
• Direct, organized, and able to tell a superintendent when a lift does not pass.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and testing frequency log.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests and verify certifications.
• Write the daily quality control report and meeting records.
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and engineer.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
