Job summary

Construction Materials Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's/EPC side. This role writes the project quality plan, sets surveillance and audit programs, and ensures contractor and supplier quality requirements are clearly defined.

You will qualify vendors, review QC plans, and own nonconformance, corrective actions, and lessons learned. Travel and site presence are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects
• 2+ years leading a project quality program
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification
• ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work
• Ability to write quality requirements that contractors can execute and enforce

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor and supplier quality requirements
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization
