Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Quality Manager I to own the QC program on a single project under a senior quality manager. You will keep the inspection and test plan current, schedule and witness the tests it calls for, write the daily QC report, and open and track nonconformances until they close.

The role starts as the first management seat for field inspectors or technicians who understand what a failing test looks like and want to own the program rather than one test.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.
• Ability to read specifications and drawings and schedule tests.
• Willingness to own nonconformance reporting and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and testing log.
• Schedule and witness field and lab tests and verify certifications.
• Write daily QC report and three-phase meeting records.
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the site team.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material cert files audit-ready.
