Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager II to run the quality control program on large or multi-phase projects. You will write the project quality control plan, lead three-phase control meetings, and coordinate with the owner's QA representative to address every test result and nonconformance.

You will supervise field inspectors and testing technicians, assign daily coverage, review reports, and drive NCR closure with documented causes and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection, incl. 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• USACE CQM-C certificate plus ICC special inspector or NICET Level III certification.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner quality programs.
• Writes clearly and holds the line in a room of superintendents and owner representatives.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
• assign daily coverage and review their reports.
• Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
