Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager II to run the quality control program on large multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or USACE/NAVFAC federal work. You will write the project quality control plan, lead phase meetings, and oversee field inspectors and technicians responsible for test results and NCRs.

Your role includes coordinating lab testing, reviewing reports, and ensuring corrective actions are completed.

Qualifications

6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
2+ years supervising inspectors.
Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner quality programs.
Writes clearly and holds the line in a room of superintendents and owner representatives.

Responsibilities

Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
Assign daily coverage and review their reports.
Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
