Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Project Management or Engineering.
• Entry level graduate or 2 to 4 years of progressive construction related trade experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency using a PC and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and maintain the project submittal log and all other project specific quality control reports.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications.
• Chair and document weekly QC meetings with the superintendent and provide reports.
• Provide daily QC reports that reinforce conformance with project standards.
• Conduct preparatory, initial and follow-up meetings to establish standards of care.
• Verify and document materials conformance with submittals and proper handling.
• Conduct preconstruction meetings with subs and the superintendent at least two days before new work phase.
• Coordinate testing.
• Stop work if necessary to resolve safety/quality issues.
