Job summary

McGough Texas seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead QA/QC for complex construction projects in Wichita Falls, TX. You will implement quality systems, manage inspections, and coordinate with the site team to ensure contract compliance and high standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in field leadership, proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam, and a CQM credential or willingness to obtain it within 90 days. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in construction field leadership roles such as Quality Control, Superintendent or PM.
  • Experience leading teams, coaching and developing fellow team members.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore and Microsoft Office.
  • Completion of CQM within last 5 years or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

  • Create & implement the QA/QC management system at site per contracting office requirements.
  • Define and establish quality procedures, standards and specifications.
  • Review contracting office requirements to ensure they are met.
  • Coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues.
  • Chair QA/QC site weekly meetings with subcontractors.
  • Distribute QA/QC documentation to trade partners and ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Coordinate inspections and testing (NDT, factory, on-site).
  • Maintain QA/QC documents, including submittals, shop drawings and schedules.
