Port Madison Construction Corporation is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee daily QC tasks across projects, ensuring conformity with specifications and industry standards. You will review documentation, perform inspections, and coordinate with staff, subcontractors, and inspectors to document a quality product.

The role requires a B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management or 10 years' field experience, plus WA licensing and USACE CQM certification.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering or Construction Management or 10 years direct experience.
• Minimum five years' experience in construction with commercial/industrial GC.
• USACE CQM Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Creates, updates, and maintains the project QC submittal log and QC reports.
• Reviews plans for conformance with project specifications using direct review and team input.
• Chairs weekly QC meetings with the superintendent and documents minutes.
• Prepares daily QC reports to ensure conformity with project standards.
• Leads preparatory and follow-up meetings to align on quality expectations.
• Verifies material quality and storage per contract specs and approvals.
• Conducts preconstruction meetings with subs and superintendent; documents them.
• Maintains logs of inspections and corrects non-conformances.
• Coordinates testing and commissioning of all systems.
• Maintains final as-builts and closeout documents.
