Job summary

Clayco is seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to support large-scale construction projects, with a focus on document control and QC coordination throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves handling equipment, testing, certifications, and checklists while collaborating with the project team.

This position requires strong computer skills and experience with project controls software (PCS); travel is required, and the role is safety-sensitive.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree preferred or equivalent experience in business administration or related field.
• Excellent computer skills, including document management system, Word, Excel, and Outlook, and willingness to regularly update skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Excellent listening skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electronic project files and folder structures across multiple platforms.
• Transfer data between owner’s and Clayco’s software platforms as needed by the project.
• Review test reports and identify issues or deficiencies; notify project team and testing company of errors.
• File test reports in correct locations by scope; maintain folder structures.
• Assist in ensuring checklists and test reports are linked to assets for quality turnover packages.
• Manage and adjust workflows for standardized processes with project team direction.
• Enter new companies and individuals in PCS and maintain roles/permissions.
• Assist in format and content of project reports; summarize quality metrics.
