Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of the Quality Control program across construction projects. The role involves coordination of inspections, documentation, and collaboration with Project Managers, Superintendents, and external personnel to deliver a quality product.

Responsibilities include leading QC meetings, maintaining the quality program, and reporting progress to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Construction Management, or related degree.
• 5-15 years of progressive construction experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to walk a job site and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, document, and track preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections.
• Chair, plan and schedule weekly QC meetings with the superintendent and provide written reports.
• Collaborate with the project team to develop and establish the Quality Program.
• Provide status updates to executive management with recommendations for quality improvements.
• Manage and support quality teams in implementing the quality program.
• Ensure materials and submittals conform to project requirements.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning of building systems and review results.
• Perform safety inspections and audits as required by company practices.
