Job summary

Ferrovial Construction seeks a Deputy Construction Quality Control Manager to help run the project QC program and support the Quality Control Manager. You will participate in development, implementation, and day-to-day QA/QC activities on major infrastructure projects.

You will build hands-on experience, lead audits, and ensure compliance with QMP and regulatory standards while coordinating with engineering, procurement, and field teams for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering or construction-related field is required or preferred.
• Minimum five years of quality control or construction experience.
• Experience on infrastructure projects (highways, bridges, utilities) is preferred.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and document control processes.
• Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills with leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project quality management system.
• Oversee field quality control activities and audits.
• Prepare quality reports and review QA/QC documentation and test results.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, QMP, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain quality records per project and corporate requirements.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for nonconformities.
• Attend and support quality-related meetings and represent QC function.
• Distribute QC documentation to subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Verify construction activities meet applicable codes and standards.
• Develop and deliver quality trainings and perform QC audits.
• Coordinate with Construction and Procurement on submittals and specs.
• Evaluate consultants and subcontractors as defined in the QMP.
• Foster collaboration between Quality, Construction, and Engineering teams.
