Hedrick Brothers Construction in Florida is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead inspections on assigned projects, ensuring work meets construction documents, approved submittals, and HBC standards. You will set the quality bar and coordinate with project teams to protect client investments.

With 6+ years of QC experience and proficiency in Procore and MS Office, you’ll guide trade partners, review plans, lead pre-install meetings, and ensure as-built drawings reflect installed components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in construction quality control.
• OSHA 10-Hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and shop drawings for compliance with construction documents and QC guidelines.
• Inspect all installations for compliance with QC checklists and construction documents.
• Lead pre-install meetings and oversee new crews to ensure correct installation and submittal compliance.
• Ensure final and as-built drawings reflect all installed components.
• Coordinate with the Superintendent and Project Manager on non-compliant items.
• Maintain positive communication with owner, design teams, and inspectors.
• Generate or assist RFIs and recommended solutions.
• Oversee trade contractors for QC, sequencing, and schedule.
