Job summary

Hedrick Brothers Construction in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Quality Control Assistant to support the field quality program. You will conduct daily inspections, verify plan compliance, and document findings to ensure work aligns with project documents and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 4+ years in construction, knowledge of CSI divisions, and proficiency with MS Office. Procore experience is preferred and OSHA 10 certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years of construction field experience.
• Working knowledge of construction practices and CSI/AIA divisions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with Procore preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily field inspections and quality control reviews.
• Review plans, shop drawings, specs, and submittals to verify compliance.
• Inspect installations and materials for conformance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Document non-conforming work and communicate findings to project teams and Quality Control Manager.
• Track corrective actions and conduct follow-up inspections.
