Job summary

Persons Services Corp in Houston seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead QC across our projects, driving root cause analyses and ensuring compliance with construction codes and safety standards.

You will mentor staff, review RFQs/RFPs for quality requirements, coordinate NDE activities with 3rd parties, and develop KPIs for executive management while guiding the procurement team on third-party services.

Qualifications

• Current CWI certification and extensive QC experience in construction.
• Proficient in ASME B31.1/B31.3 piping codes and BPVC NDE practices.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, procedures, and audits.
• Ability to analyze data, identify risks, and drive corrective actions.
• Experience mentoring staff and influencing senior management on quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage welding QC activities, welder tracking, and weld procedure development.
• Act as quality liaison between field teams and clients; ensure documentation accuracy.
• Support QC packages, checklists, and procedures for welding, fabrication, and inspection.
• Provide weekly progress updates and lead root cause analyses.
• Oversee NDE scheduling with third parties and review material and MTRs.
• Review quality requirements in documents and ensure implementation of QMS programs.
• Conduct audits, trend analysis, and prepare KPI reports for executive management.
• Guide staff development and succession planning within Quality Management.
