M/I Homes in North Carolina is seeking an entry-level Construction Superintendent-in-training to learn and support on-site construction under the guidance of seasoned managers. You will assist in coordinating activities, inspections, and scheduling to keep projects moving toward on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have a construction-related degree or 3+ years of experience, strong carpentry and blueprint-reading skills, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Construction Management preferred or 3+ years related experience.
• Strong carpentry, blueprint reading and hands-on construction knowledge.
• Customer-service oriented with clear verbal and written communication.

Responsabilités

• Oversee Quality Control Inspection (QCI) processes with staff and ensure 100% complete homes at delivery.
• Coordinate with Operations, Construction and Customer Care to complete duties and prevent issues.
• Ensure construction materials and workmanship meet high quality standards.
• Assist in scheduling subcontractors and monitoring progress across phases.
• Train in M/I Homes construction process and attend key builder/homeowner meetings.
• Support warranty, safety, and policy compliance on site.
