Job summary

M/I Homes is seeking a Construction Management trainee to learn and develop supervision skills under Construction Managers. You will help coordinate on-site activities, monitor phases, and assist in inspections to ensure timely completion and quality.

Ideal candidates have construction knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's or an Associate degree is preferred or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge in construction processes and industry practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and use hand/power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating on-site construction activities for subdivisions.
• Attend and participate in key builder/homeowner meetings and inspections.
• Review blueprints for accuracy and monitor workflow and quality.
• Schedule subcontractors and track delivery of materials and equipment.
• Act as liaison between subcontractors and management while maintaining safety.
