Insight Global is seeking a QA/QC Specialist for a top construction client in the Sandusky, OH area. This role develops and executes project quality programs to ensure compliance with standards, specifications, and client requirements.

You will review drawings and shop drawings, manage RFIs, validate field information, conduct inspections, and oversee pre-pour quality processes, ensuring safety and quality on complex construction projects.

Qualifications

• Strong background in construction quality management.
• Experience reviewing drawings and submittals for compliance.
• Proven ability to manage RFIs and maintain QA records.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans.
• Validate construction drawings against project requirements and specs.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance.
• Compile, track, and manage RFIs.
• Coordinate with engineers, PMs, and field leadership.
• Track revisions and ensure use of current documents.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and QA reviews.
• Facilitate and document pre-pour checklist reviews and signoffs.
• Verify activities align with specs and quality standards; identify non-conformances and support corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed QA/QC records and reporting.
