Job summary

Insight Global is seeking multiple QA/QC Field Engineers to join the onsite Quality team for leading construction projects in the United States. This hands-on, field-focused role supports quality from preconstruction through turnover, with an emphasis on a Project Engineer mindset.

The role requires ~75% field time working with superintendents, subcontractors, craft labor, engineers, and leadership to identify, prevent, and resolve quality issues on complex mission‑critical sites.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience as QA/QC Engineer, QA/QC Inspector, Field Engineer, or Project Engineer on commercial/industrial or mission‑critical construction projects.
• Experience supporting the electrical discipline.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and quality control processes.
• Able to work closely with superintendents, trade contractors, and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Support onsite quality control and quality assurance activities through the project lifecycle.
• Inspect work, materials, equipment, and installations for compliance with specs and standards.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and quality docs.
• Conduct field inspections during fabrication, installation, commissioning, and punch list phases.
• Track deficiencies and drive corrective actions to resolution.
• Collaborate with leadership, trade partners, designers, and clients to resolve issues.
• Assist with quality reporting, docs management, and field verification.
• Ensure work meets project requirements, standards, and safety expectations.
• Serve as frontline technical resource for quality concerns across scopes.
