Job summary

Baker Construction Enterprises Inc. seeks a QA/QC Manager to lead site quality assurance and control activities. You will supervise inspection staff, develop QA/QC programs, and ensure compliance with project standards and regulatory requirements.

The role requires experience as a certified Inspector Level II/III in multiple disciplines and the ability to manage audits, hold/witness points, and supplier surveillance. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, scientific, or construction-related discipline and 6 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of construction practices (formwork, rebar, concrete placing).
• Quality assurance-related experience, preferably in nuclear power industry (DOE/DOD).
• Quality inspector experience.
• Familiarity with NRC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct QA/QC activities across assigned fields and supervise inspectors.
• Oversee QA/QC documentation generated, assembled, and maintained for a project.
• Define inspection processes and certify co-workers who perform inspections.
• Develop and implement QA/QC program in accordance with owner/regulatory requirements.
• Direct staff to perform quality-related activities and review test controls.
