Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, scientific, or construction-related discipline from an accredited college or university and 6 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of construction practices (formwork, rebar, concrete placing)
• Quality assurance-related experience preferably in nuclear power industry (DOE/DOD facilities)
• Quality inspector experience
• Demonstrated skill and knowledge with applicable quality codes and standards and preferably NRC regulations

Responsibilities

• Direct staff according to QA/QC needs including inspections and audits
• Oversee QA/QC documentation for a specific project
• Ensure records are legible, complete, and traceable to the item
• Assist in defining inspection processes and certifying coworkers
• Develop and implement QA/QC programs in line with requirements
• Direct qualified inspection and test personnel
• Review and approve test controls and witness tests
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality programs
