Job summary

McGough Group is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead QA/QC efforts on projects near Bismarck, ND with occasional travel. You will develop and manage QA/QC programs, review specs, and coordinate with subcontractors and site teams.

Role requires extensive QC leadership in construction, proficiency with Bluebeam/Procore, and a path to CQM certification if not already held. This is a full-time on-site position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction field leadership roles (Quality Control, Superintendent, or PM).
• 5+ years leading teams, coaching, and developing members.
• Strong knowledge of building constructability in all definable features of work.
• Management of subcontracted testing firms and scope buyout.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office & Procore.
• Completion of the Construction Quality Management (CQM) within 5 years or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Create & implement the QA/QC management system at site utilizing contracting office requirements.
• Define quality procedures, standards, and specifications as required.
• Review contract requirements and ensure they are being met.
• Coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues.
• Coordinate and chair QA/QC site weekly meetings with subcontractors.
• Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site trade partners and ensure quality requirements.
• Coordinate with quality inspections with all site trade partners and vendors.
• Coordinate nondestructive testing on site and factory/on-site testing.
• Perform and document preinstallation meetings and approve submittals.
• Update as-built drawings and maintain site set; ensure QA/QC docs are complete.
