Job summary

Ironmark Building Co. is seeking a Commercial Construction Quality Assurance Manager for projects in the greater Phoenix area.

You will establish and monitor quality standards, perform site inspections, and partner with field and project teams to ensure work meets contract documents and Ironmark standards. The role requires leadership experience, plan interpretation, and a strong focus on safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement to drive quality across all phases from construction

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in leadership roles in construction
Read and interpret plans, specs, submittals, drawings
Experience managing QA/punch/ turnover and warranty processes
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
Knowledge of Procore and MS Project
OSHA/CPR/First Aid certifications encouraged
Excellent communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

Review project plans, specs, submittals, shop drawings, and documents to identify quality risks and develop a project-specific quality control plan.
Perform routine field inspections to verify workmanship and compliance with contract documents.
Manage warranty processes and drive corrective actions across projects.
Create and maintain QA/QC checklists, punch lists, and inspection records.
Coordinate with project teams, trade partners, and owners on quality expectations and inspections.
Lead QA kickoff meetings and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
Oversee deficiences tracking and closure through to turnover and owner acceptance.
