Job summary

Lennar is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant in Houston, TX. The role focuses on learning LOC operating systems and supporting division leaders in a high-performance environment.

You will handle plan take-offs, option take-offs, and purchase order updates while coordinating with estimating and purchasing teams to keep costs aligned with project timelines. The position requires a high school diploma, proficiency in Excel/Word, and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain plan take-off information for new and revised plans.
• Maintain option take-offs for plans/communities.
• Monitor budgeting and start dates for home sites.
• Interact with estimating and division purchasing to resolve issues.
• Update and process supplier/prices using system workflows.
• Update purchase orders to reflect current costs and quantities.
• Handle routine tickets (Z- Report, AV report, PO deletion).
