Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented Construction Proposals & Licensing Coordinator with 2–5 years of construction field engineering experience. This role involves administrative, technical, and proposal support to ensure successful project submissions and maintain compliance.

You will manage bid documents, develop proposal frameworks, and monitor licensing across jurisdictions. The position requires strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively. Benefits include a comprehensive plan covering medical, dental, 401(k), and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of construction field engineering experience or similar.
• Strong interest in learning company operations, processes, and procedures.
• Maintain composure and positivity under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Download bid documents from client sites.
• Set up and maintain bid folders in Box.
• Communicate effectively with corporate departments.
• Assist cross-functionally while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Analyze solicitations for compliance requirements.
• Create proposal frameworks in Word and InDesign.

Skills

Construction field engineering experience

Self-starter

General technical knowledge of construction practices

Ability to work cross-functionally

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
