Job summary

Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is seeking a Construction Services Manager to coordinate new construction, remodeling, and renovation in accordance with contract drawings and specifications. You will supervise department staff and act as department head in the absence of the Director, collaborating with the Construction Manager and other MATC personnel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• Three years of construction renovation and maintenance project experience.
• Project manager or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate preparation of contract drawings, specifications and cost estimates.
• Assure contractors' adherence to contract documents including drawings, specifications, codes and procedures.
• Inspect construction work in progress and recommend corrective actions.
• Act as liaison between contractors, architects, construction services, engineering services and MATC staff.
• Conduct tests and maintain records to ensure schedule compliance.
• Procure quotes on minor projects and coordinate projects.
