Job summary

Capital Development Board is actively seeking a CDB Project Technician to support the design and construction phase of capital projects in Peoria. You will monitor progress, manage documentation, and track reporting in the project management system, interfacing with architects, engineers, contractors and internal teams.

This role emphasizes accurate reporting, signatures, and coordination to ensure timely project closeouts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of related office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the design and construction phase of capital projects for CDB.
• Reviews Certificates of Substantial Completion Packages and Final Closeout Packages for completeness and accuracy.
• Initiates tracking and reporting in Project Management System for all CDB projects.
• Ensures proper signatures and bonding company attachments and approvals are submitted by contractors.
• Extracts project tracking data for various reports.
• Provides effective communications with architect/engineer firms, contractors and CDB staff and provides administrative support to the regional manager.
