Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Project Scheduler for its federal building division in Port Canaveral, FL. You will develop baselines, coordinate with project management, superintendents and subcontractors, and maintain the project schedule using established software.

Ideal candidates have Civil Engineering or Construction Management training, 3–5 years scheduling experience, Primavera P6 proficiency, and ability to analyze risks, changes, and budgets. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project scheduling experience.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and baseline/risk scheduling concepts.
• Experience with claim time impact analysis and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Develops a baseline schedule coordinating with project management, superintendents and subcontractors.
• Uses scheduling software to implement, maintain and analyze the project schedule.
• Loads resources, costs and sequencing information.
• Coordinates project controls to assess risk per standards.
• Prepares risk and impact assessments of schedule changes for the team.
• Analyzes changes to schedule and impact on cost and timeline.
• Documents project delays and change orders; communicates impacts.
• Leads scheduling meetings and prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly reports.
• Forecasts budget relations to schedule with accounting; assists with contingency planning.
