Job summary

Hernandez Consulting & Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support a large federal healthcare/residential construction project in New Orleans. This role emphasizes scheduling, CPM updates, and project controls, coordinating with the manager, design team, general contractor, and stakeholders to keep milestones on track.

The ideal candidate has hands-on scheduling experience with CPM, Primavera P6 or MS Project, and strong communication in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial construction or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with construction schedules and CPM scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development, maintenance, and updates of the CPM schedule.
• Collect schedule information from project participants and update progress.
• Update start/finish dates, durations, milestones, procurement, and submittals.
