Job summary

SST Direct in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead and develop a multidisciplinary team for end-to-end project delivery. You will oversee project scope, schedule, budget, safety, and stakeholder communications to ensure quality results.

The role requires a Bachelor's in construction management or related field, 7+ years in construction engineering or project engineering, and 1-2 years in a managerial capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, related field, or equivalent experience required.
• Master's degree preferred (not essential).
• Experience: minimum 7 years in construction engineering or related field.
• 1-2 years managerial experience preferred.
• OSHA30-Hour Construction certification preferred; OSHA 30 required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of construction project personnel, establishing expectations and development plans.
• Oversee end-to-end project execution, monitor progress, address escalated issues, and lead safety initiatives.
• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors to meet schedule and field needs.
• Communicate project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders with advanced project management knowledge.
• Evaluate project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Review project documentation for compliance, reporting, and future reference.

DIRECT HIRE: An awesome opportunity for a Construction Project Managers to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate manages construction project individuals to deliver high-quality results and foster professional growth. Provides full project leadership with accountability for end-to-end project delivery, representing the project team and resolving complex execution, stakeholder, and risk-related issues. Oversees the successful delivery of construction project(s) by providing advanced knowledge of construction activities, methodologies, and industry standards. Manages and develops the full project team, including project engineers and assistant project managers, through coaching, feedback, and performance oversight. Manages and coordinates multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements, timelines, and quality standards are consistently met. Ensures efficient project execution by monitoring team progress, analyzing project performance, identifying and resolving both routine and complex issues, owning project financials, contract administration, risk management, and complex stakeholder negotiations to achieve financial targets and mitigate risk.

Salary Range: $120K - $135K

Benefits: Full Medical, Vision, and Dental, Short- and Long-Term Disability, 401(k) with a 6% company match, 4 weeks of PTO, Every 5 years, employees receive an additional 3 weeks of PTO for that year, Year-end bonus of 10–15% of salary, based on company performance

Base Schedule: M-F, 7am - 4:30pm (OT inclusive), weekends as needed

Responsibilities:

• Lead,manage, and developa team of construction project individuals by establishing expectations, supporting individualized development plans, facilitating training opportunities, and reinforcing continuous skill growth to achieve exceptional performance and encourage talent development
• Overseeend-to-end project execution by collaborating with project teams, monitoring progress, and addressing escalated, complex issues to ensure timely completion, while maintaining consistent field presence, leading participation in safety meetings including stretch and flex, and demonstrating fluency in high-risk activities to actively drive safe, planned, and controlled project outcomes
• Overseeand approves procurement of project-related materials, equipment, and specialty trade subcontractors as needed, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with SPW work sequences and field requirements
• Communicateproject status, risks, and changes to stakeholders, leveraging advanced knowledge and experience in project management
• Evaluateproject performance, identifies areas for improvement, and implements corrective actions
• Reviewcomprehensive project documentation for compliance, reporting, and future reference

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience required
• Master'sdegree in construction management, engineering, architecture, business administration, a related field, or equivalent experience preferred (not essential)

Work Experience:

• Minimum 7years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field required
• 1- 2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred

• OSHA30-Hour Construction certification preferred
• OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required
