Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) is seeking a Construction Project Management Professional (OPS) to lead, manage, and coordinate complex construction projects on campus. The role requires PMP certification, strong contract management skills, and expertise in project controls, cost estimates, and regulatory compliance.

The position reports to Safety and Facilities and collaborates with A/E teams, vendors, and campus staff to ensure timely, quality project delivery within budget.

Formación

• Current certified PMP and PMI member.
• Knowledge of construction principles and techniques.
• Knowledge of mathematics and construction materials.
• Knowledge of planning and monitoring techniques.
• Ability to review contract documents, building plans, and specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Acts as contract manager and PMP on all assigned construction projects; initiates procurement and monitors activities.
• Coordinates A/E designs, cost estimates, specifications, and required documentation; reviews for code compliance.
• Manages vendor relationships, invoicing, and change orders; ensures projects stay on time and within budget.
• Attends meetings, prepares bid advertisements, and coordinates all construction activities with staff and consultants.
