Job summary

Kaiser Aluminum is seeking a Project Construction Manager Central Engineering - Corporate to oversee construction projects across North American plants. The role emphasizes planning, supervision, and coordination to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget execution, with travel to project locations as needed.

The role requires a strong engineering background, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to lead in dynamic manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred.
Associate’s degree plus 5 years of experience required.
Ability to interface with contractors and all levels of the Kaiser organization.
Experience in project engineering, project management, construction management or related.
Lean production knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop project scope, feasibility, cost estimates, and schedules for installation, engineering, and construction.
Develop construction specifications and manage resources, budgets, and schedules.
Administer construction engineering and design contracts; coordinate installations and start-ups.
Track, report and manage project performance, schedule, and cost; ensure compliance.
Collaborate with lead engineers and project managers; implement process improvements.
