Qualifications

• Physical requirements: remain stationary, move across sites, operate a computer, and lift up to 25 pounds; frequent coordination with teams.
• Mental requirements: lead and collaborate with executives and project teams, interpret policies, analyze data, manage priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Confer with project staff to outline work plan and assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority.
• Examine estimates of material, equipment and production costs, performance requirements and project schedules for completeness.
• Review status reports and modify schedules or plans as required.
• Prepare bids, process specifications, test and progress reports and other exhibits.
• Review bids from other firms for conformance to contract requirements and acceptability.
• Award and administer subcontracts, including final payment approvals.
• Prepare project reports for management, client, or others.
• Advise superintendents and construction managers of contractual rights and obligations.
• Maintain subcontracts and subcontractor status databases.
• Act as liaison between company, client and subcontractors.
• Ensure invoicing timeliness and payment collection within contract terms.
• Maintain thorough documentation of events, discussions and issues.
• Provide monthly projections of project status.
• Coordinate project activities with government regulatory or other agencies when applicable.
• Assist other craft workers as needed.
