Job summary

Rogers-O’Brien Construction in Texas is seeking a Project Manager to provide on-site leadership for assigned projects, manage costs, develop schedules, and ensure safety and quality standards. The role includes directing subcontractors, coordinating resources, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

You will lead project staff, monitor progress, and ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets while upholding RO’s commitment to quality and safety throughout the build.

Qualifications

• A degree in the field of Construction Science or Engineering is preferred, however, not required.
• 5-10 years of experience in ground-up commercial construction, ground-up experience in retail, office, and industrial.
• Experience with scheduling software, such as Primavera & Procore, is preferred.
• Experience on projects that utilized technologies such as digital plan rooms, BIM or laser scanning.
• Preconstruction leadership on potential or negotiated projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site direction for all aspects of construction for assigned project.
• Manage project costs to ensure completion within budget expectations.
• Develop the project schedule in critical path steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
• Responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, while providing technical direction.
• Lead and develop the project staff and ensure the project meets or exceeds customer expectations.
