Job summary

VALCOURT EXTERIOR NJ MST in Millstone Township, NJ seeks a Project Manager to oversee all aspects of exterior construction projects, coordinate deadlines, procurement, and field coordination with foremen and crews.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least two years in construction management, proficiency with MS Excel/Word and estimating software, knowledge of OSHA standards, and the ability to read plans accurately. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years related experience required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must read and understand commercial plans, specs and details.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with estimating software.
• Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask bid and post‑award duties.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects to ensure scopes are completed per standards and profitably.
• Operate and care for company equipment, vehicles, and small tools.
• Communicate with owners and consulting engineers to create comprehensive bids.
• Perform accurate take-offs.
• Constantly collect current pricing from vendors.
• Coordinate materials, scope, and schedule with Foreman and crew.
• Initiate submittal process after award and assist with information.
• Prepare purchase orders and complete required paperwork, including change orders and RFI’s.
• Visit sites to manage the project and ensure updated plans.
• Communicate scheduling needs with the ownership team.
• Finalize contracts, warranties, close-out documents, and inspections.
• Document substantial completion and final completion dates.
