Job description

About the Role

Fletcher Development builds, renovates, and maintains some of the finest homes in Fairfield and Westchester Counties. We pride ourselves on exceptional quality, client service, and operational excellence. We're seeking a Project Manager to oversee both residential construction projects and estate care maintenance sites — someone highly organized, experienced in field operations, and confident managing multiple properties and clients simultaneously.

This is not an office job. You will not be managing this portfolio from behind a desk, and you will not be waiting for a superintendent to tell you what's happening on site. You'll be in the field most of the day, every day: directing work, interfacing with clients and vendors, enforcing budget and schedule, and holding every project to the standard our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations across multiple active sites (estate care + renovations)
  • Conduct site visits and ensure quality control and project standards
  • Coordinate and schedule vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Prepare bids, proposals, and pricing for maintenance and renovation work
  • Lead client communication with professionalism and clarity
  • Oversee procurement of materials and services; track delivery and logistics
  • Triage maintenance issues and deploy the appropriate trades quickly and effectively
  • Plan and manage small-to-medium renovation scopes start to finish
  • Navigate permitting processes and inspections as required
  • Maintain detailed project timelines, schedules, and documentation
  • Proactively identify and resolve field issues to keep projects on track
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management experience in residential construction, renovations, estate management, or related field
  • Strong understanding of home systems and general construction/maintenance practices — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, building envelope, drainage, generators, pools, and smart home systems
  • Proven ability to manage multiple sites and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience with bidding, budgeting, and vendor/subcontractor coordination
  • Working knowledge of permitting and inspection processes
  • Excellent scheduling and time management skills
  • Strong client-facing communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to problem-solve, triage, and make decisions in the field
  • Tech-savvy: project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or equivalent), Excel, Slack, and comfort using AI tools day to day for proposals, scopes of work, and client correspondence
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Who We're Looking For
  • You're highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • You have a high standard for quality, and you're comfortable holding vendors/subcontractors to it
  • You're calm under pressure and solutions-driven
  • You're professional, polished, and client-service focused
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation
  • The opportunity to manage some of the most high-end custom residential projects in the region
  • A flat, direct leadership structure where strong operators are given real authority
  • Long-term growth opportunities within our family of companies spanning construction, design, and technology

Compensation: $100,000–$130,000
