Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Project Manager to ensure project objectives are achieved on schedule and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating project activities with teams and outside vendors.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent construction experience, strong budgeting/scheduling skills, and proficiency in Excel and Bluebeam, plus excellent communication and problem-solving abilities for successful

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred or experience as a Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Engineer in construction, service, or subcontracting.
• High attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to understand technical components of construction projects.
• Strong math skills to verify bids for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to identify required materials and ensure procurement aligns with customer budgets.
• Direct and oversee all assigned project activities to ensure timelines, scopes, and budgets are maintained.
• Communicate project status with teams and clients by reviewing reports and providing timely updates.
• Present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers; convey technical feedback from carpenters to customers.
• Forecast to manage project coordination and resolve issues efficiently.
• Follow established procedures to manage projects on time and under budget.
• Monitor and review projects to ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction.
• Track job materials and submittals to ensure timely delivery.
• Foster customer relationships and identify potential sales opportunities.
