DH Pace Company in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Project Coordinator to ensure project objectives are met by deadlines and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities.

Ideal candidates will have two years of experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work closely with Project Managers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years’ experience as a Project Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager/Engineer for a construction/service company, sub-contractor, or property management firm preferred.
• High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Mechanically minded or inclined; able to work closely with Project Managers.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to determine materials, schedule, budget parameters, and resource allocation for project phases.
• Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties and provide technical guidance.
• Direct and coordinate activities to ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget; review status reports and adjust as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review project plans and specifications to determine materials, schedule, budget parameters, and allotment of available resources for the various phases of the project
• Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties, scope of authority, and provide technical advice/troubleshooting
• Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and make changes where needed
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Two (2) years’ experience as a Project Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager/Engineer for a construction/service company, sub-contractor, or property management firm preferred
• Construction Management Degree preferred
• Candidates will need to have a high attention to detail and enjoy a fast-paced work environment that is very deadline focused
• Mechanically minded or inclined
• Working closely with Project Managers
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication, customer relations, and problem-solving skills
