Job summary

Chesapeake Contracting Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction efforts, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality. You will coordinate teams, manage records, and supervise closeout, reporting to a Senior Project Manager or Project Executive.

The role collaborates with Site Superintendent and Senior PM, overseeing estimation, budgeting, procurement, and execution with strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating construction projects from initiation to closeout.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and quality control.
• Strong leadership and meeting facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities such as meetings and subcontractor pricing.
• Review drawings, prepare RFIs, and propose cost-saving solutions.
• Develop and monitor project budgets with scheduling alignment.
• Manage procurement: schedule purchases, review plans, and subcontractor awards.
• Oversee project execution and monitor progress against schedule.
• Lead owner and subcontractor meetings and coordinate closeout activities.
• Maintain client communication and address stakeholder concerns.
