Job summary

Jobot is seeking a driven Construction Project Manager to oversee all phases of a multi-sector portfolio. You will lead planning, design, and execution across municipal, healthcare, and commercial projects, coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and strict safety compliance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of PM experience, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction project management role.
• Proven experience in managing municipal, healthcare, and commercial construction projects.
• Prior self-perform construction experience for trades such as carpentry and concrete a plus.
• Prior design-build experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Excellent project management skills including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in project management software.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and build strong teams.
• Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Understanding of construction laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle managing project development from initiation to closure.
• Work with project stakeholders to establish project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and manage project resources.
• Manage budget allocation and ensure that projects are delivered within the agreed budget.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
• Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, and local and state regulations are met.
• Implement project communication plan and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
• Resolve any issues or delays that occur during the construction process.
• Conduct project review and create detailed reports for executive staff.
• Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary.
