Job summary

ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies, seeks a Project Manager for our Nashville office. You will lead project performance from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with clients and the design team to develop concepts and budgets.

You will participate in proposals, oversee subcontractor selection, and drive value engineering, scheduling, and cost control while upholding safety and quality standards across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years' construction management or engineering design experience.
• Experience leading ground up commercial, light industrial, multi-family, hospitality, or entertainment construction projects preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of a project from preconstruction through closeout.
• Collaborate with clients and design teams to develop preliminary concepts and budgets.
• Participate in proposal meetings to review scope, discuss costs, and negotiate contracts and fees.
• Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout for all trades and vendors.
• Identify opportunities to procure material or equipment directly when advantageous.
• Work with the Project Superintendent on scopes, schedules, and site logistics.
• Lead preconstruction planning meetings with designers, subs, and vendors to resolve constructability issues.
• Organize and manage multiple activities to achieve results.
• Track performance vs budget; prepare pay applications, cost status, and progress reports.
• Maintain safety and quality while making the construction process engaging for all parties.
